Just a quick write-up on History/Personality. I'll do some more editing tomorrow at work since things are gonna be slow ;) History: Araug was into the Broken Fist (named for their symbol, a spiked gauntlet) clan. He had the typical upbringing of any orcish male, trained in the arts of warfare from an early age. He quickly picked up on the nuances of battle, often besting his peers when sparring. During a raid on the Broken Fist stronghold by the rival Skullface clan, most of his clan was destroyed. Araug's patrol was ambushed on their return by a group of Skullclan orcs, and Araug was mortally wounded in the skirmish. He managed to retreat through the forest a few miles before collapsing into unconsciousness. When he awoke, he was in a small cottage being tended to by an elderly human. He attempted to attack his savior, but was quickly subdued by the venerable monk. Still dizzy from the loss of blood he had suffered, Araug slipped back into unconsciousness. When he recovered, the monk identified himself as Ying Li. Araug wanted to leave immediately to find out what had happened to his clan, but Master Li had informed him that he was the last of the Broken Fist clan. The Skullface clan had wiped them out, and assimilated those that swore allegiance to them. With nowhere left to go and no place to call home, Araug begged Master Li to teach him how to fight as he did. Three years passed, and Araug had finally learned all his Master could teach him. A week ago, Master Li passed away. He instructed his student to sell the cottage and make his way into the world. Recent: Araug sold the cottage and bought a few provisions in town. The townsfolk recognize him as the old hermit's student, and typically don't go out of their way to avoid him like they would a normal orc. He's unsure of what he should do next, and is waiting for a sign pointing him in the right direction. Personality: Araug is the strong, silent type. He recognizes that most people don't tend to converse with orcs unless they have to. His Master taught him that all life is to be respected, but that conflicts with his orcish heritage, and he struggles to keep his temper in check at times. He relishes combat, and fights with a controlled fury. He constantly refers to the teachings of Master Li to keep him on the right path, because he fears what he may become if he strays.
