OK it's pretty obviously stated that it's not LA and it cannot be paid off. I don't have the time ATM to check the whole entry but it's there: [sblock=SRD]Over the course of his career, a character with a bloodline becomes more powerful than one without a bloodline. Because the power gain is gradual over a span of twenty levels, a static level adjustment doesn't truly reflect this difference. instead, a bloodline character must take one or more levels of "bloodline" at various points in his career, as noted on Table: Bloodline Levels. ...A bloodline level grants no increase in base attack bonus or base save bonuses, no hit points or skill points, and no class features. It counts as a normal class level (with no class skills) for the purpose of determining maximum skill ranks. Levels of bloodline never result in XP penalties for multiclass characters. ...[/sblock] So there is no point in asking if you will get your Con bonus to HP and your Int bonus to skills, you are not eligible for either. They are effectively dead levels that only advance caster level and some other stuff (like death attack DC). It's normally quite bad to sacrifice full caster levels for effective caster levels hence me not knowing about these. Also, Zerith you seem to be confusing the mechanics with the fluff. You I don't see anywhere in the Demon entry that your character gains a Gore attack or a Tail Slam. Hence you are not required to grow either unless you want the fluff (but you won't get the natural attacsk). Your hat will be able to hide all the stuff that's been described: Characters with a demon bloodline may bear some minor characteristic reminiscent of such an ancestor: sinister glowing eyes, a faint smell of brimstone, or a love of brutality. Well the smell not, but the glowing eyes - yes. Just to warn you at least one character has a Permanent True Sight on them, and he will see right trough your shenanigans (Ferviel - I've revealed this to ethandrew, Latham succeeded on a high Int check and figured out what the blue glow around his eyes was). Also, can you pleasespell-check your posts? The grammar-lich in me twitches every time I see a mistake :)
