And Now, a Thread Hijiack (originally posted at RPG Net) Tomorrow, for my DNW campaign:

One of the PCs will piss off an old rival again by smoking the lamer NPC's ass in an illegal street race.
The NPC will decide to do something about the loss of face w/ his crew by stealing the offending auto and chopping up for parts at Ye Olde Illegal Chop Shop.
The offending car, in actuality, belongs to another PC. One of a handful of suitable NPCs shall fall into this same NPC's clutches, and shall become a means to attempt to extort Street Racer PC.
Street Racer PC receives word of the plot contrivance, and Car Owner PC (because his character is Lawful Good--yes, DNW has alignments--and thus the hero) will insist upon retriving both the car and the hapless plot contrivance from the villain.
The PCs gather to take on the task, only to find that the chop shop is a secret-yet-thriving criminal enterprise; a dozen cars are in various states of disassembly upon the PCs' arrival, and all in the operation are combat-ready (if not capable). Some do this reluctantly, as there is an allegedly psychotic debutante inducing the flower of Twin Cities manhood to kill themselves and each other in order to win/maintain her favor and said villainess wants to make a thrall of a friendly NPC.
The chop shop is also a distribution point for the local cocaine trade, so there is a suitable presence of more dangerous crooks on hand; these crooks use the chop shop to facilitate distribution and recruitment, and they answer to a higher criminal authority (Mr. Not-Appearing-In-This-Adventure).
The PCs take down the chop shop, mostly due to the shop's lack of vigilance allowing the PCs to attain the element of surprise and thus make the entire encounter easier than it ought to be; it is a commando raid in miniature.
Unknown to the PCs, the entire adventure turns out to be a ruse by the villainess--who's well-connected on the street--to do two things: get the PCs to take down a rival to her plans, and give her the window of opportunity that she needs to get to the hapless friendly NPC. As this end of things happens entirely off-camera, it's not a part of the session; it's all in the background, and will come up in later sessions.
We'll see how this goes. I'm still experimenting w/ the game. [Post-Script: The session went very well, and almost as outlined above.
