Do bonus points continue after 20th level?

According to the SRD, bonus power points are calculated by taking the key ability modifier * manifester level * .5. The base formula would imply that your bonus points continue even into epic levels, but in the Psion epic class description, it explicitly states that base power points don't increase above 20th level. These two seem to be somewhat contradictory, but it seems to me that while your base points wouldn't increase, bonus points would continue to accrue.

No.

Here's why:

Epic psionic characters do not gain additional bonus power points above 20th. They may still gain more power points as their key ability score increases.

As that is the overarcing rule for epic manifesters and the epic psion entry does not override it, that's the rule.

Thanks a bunch. I was trying to find that, but was primarily looking in the epic Psion's class entry.

Based on my understanding of that, it looks like you basically gain power points according to just your ability mod * 20 (max level) * .5. So as your ability goes up, so do your bonus power points.

Does this seem correct?

Yes, that is the correct formula.

The reason you don't get extra powerpoints is becasue spellcasters don't get extra spells. Their spells become more powerful as their caster level increases into epic, but they don't get any more actual spells. The same is true for the psionicist. They don't get more powerpoints. Their manifester level increases, but the number of points does not.
