I will still get the same XP as them and by 10th level they won't notice the difference between my char. and theirs....aside from the fact that he's going to be a bard and bards tend not to shine (I think) but be more the all-round utility back. I AM a bit concerned about the CR equalling the power of the others. I will just have to play smarter and more covertly than I have been with my power characters who, by and large, have had zero fear of death.....I have been thinking of asking the DM and the group if they'd like to use the book rules for roll-up then give out a stat increase every even level. That way they could end up with 25 or so if they really wanted to in their main stat and they would dig the extra stat points. They might go for that, especially if my 3d6 guy goes ok.......P</blockquote>
