To recap: ________________ The cleric is pregnant and very vain. She has no desire to be seen in her social circles in her current condition but cannot disappear for the remainder of her pregnancy. She has contemplated aborting the babies (7 of them) but has asked about researching a spell to transfer the children into the wombs of willing surrogate mothers. Obviously she may be able to get someone to research and cast the spell for her but she is interested in having the spell herself since it is within her capabilities. As to the reason for the multiples with this cleric. She was infested, willingly, by a parasite, named Prawn, in an attempt to gather information during an adventure. Prawn had the ability to control her physiology on a hormonal level and is an agent of chaos. After sifting her memories Prawn felt that she was lacking chaos in her own life and turned her turned her ovaries on overdrive to mix it up a little. She communed with Olidimarra to find out if he had anything to do with her situation and wether he would object to abortion. His responses were vague. _________________ Quote: cptg1481 Cool, I like it, let us know what happens to the babies... _________________ Quote: RigaMortus Why make it a spell? Anyway, this could open up a good opportunity for a quest for the Cleric. And it wouldn't make you have to come up with a new spell, which would have a very limited use anyway. _________________ 4 weeks later..... When last we saw our intrepid adventuress (Kaylin) she asked her father (A Cleric of Olidimarra) to help her research a spell. He told her that Olidimarra could not help her and that she should go see a certain witch. After negotiations, the witch arranged for a ritual to be done that tranfered the infants into seven young members of her coven in what she called a "birthing ritual". Kaylin had to provide a surrogate father (each a man with which she had had sexual relations) for each child. Unfortunately her history didn't provide enough trustworthy candidates and she had to engage in uncomfortable negotiations with her fellow party members to fill the requirement (none of whom knew her situation until that moment). In the ritual the spiritual bonds that linked the natural mother and surrogate father to the children was transfered to the witches as all seven boys were simutaneously born of their natural mother. The coven leader did this under the condition that she was named the Godmother of all seven sons in a seperate magic ritual. At the culmination of the ritual the Coven leader intoned "Seven sons of a seventh son. All are first and all are last. All are the seventh of the seventh." Kaylin is allowed to develop any personal relationship with the children she feels like pursuing but any spiritual/magical connection between her and her children has been severed by the witches. That's where it lies.
