I collect the better Judges Guild stuff religiously (and use them with the same fervor), I have most good early 1e modules... Currently, I have started to expand my collection of old third party stuff, and also invested in a new set of 1e core books, with the original covers of course.I find that these usually play very well with some slight alterations - it may be unpolished (which is a feature for me, a bug for others), but a lot is unpolished diamonds* with the wide-eyed naivety and exuberance of a game that can be (almost) anything. Also, they don't waste space with PRCs, huge stat blocks and "crunch" I am never going to use, ever.*Not all of them, of course.</blockquote>
