However, bad editing and grammar can make a published work difficult to understand.  Poor writing and use of language can make a work even more difficult to understand. Perhaps a fresh pair of eyes on a product before it is sent to the printers can prevent the need for errata.  Well worded explanations of rules, as well as vivid descriptions can make a product more enjoyable.  The reason I purchase RPG products is for pleasure, not to suffer mild headaches.  However, I have gone through arguments with friends over the meaning of some rules.  (The 3rd Edition Attacks of Opportunity rules took a little time to fully comprehend.)Spellchecking programs do not catch all errors, but they can help.  Also, most publishers can find a fresh pair of eyes to read through a text.  So, I think many of the errors are avoidable.As for why some of the races and locals in Castlemorn may be long, it may involve a little time on the rack.
