and a shiny new die.
Last year at Gen Con Indy, I was tempted to get the big foam d20, but I was afraid that it would eventually be used as a weapon. :) That stuff is pretty solid and hurts when hurled.

What in hell is GM's day?
It's a gaming holiday that was first celebrated in 2003 where the gaming community celebrates the hard work GMs go through to create fun for everyone at the table.

Many publishers hold sales around GM's Day, and if you are interested in seeing who's holding sales, there are lots of announcements in the Publisher's Forum.

I voted yes, even though I'm the GM. I actually got a chance to play for the first time in months (set aside especially for GM's day!), and my wife/elf bought me a piece of cheesecake.

It should be like black history "month" and be a whole "month" long where the players are obliged to worship their DM and tell him how much fun they're having and that they're soooo appreciative of everything that he does (and the beer and chocolate part too ;).

Other: I am the GM, and players laugh at me when I say that March 4th is GM's Day. I've also never had players who bought the whole "GMs don't pay for the meal/snacks" thing either. Ah well, I'm just happy to have a game at all, I guess.
