[QUOTE="Ruin Explorer, post: 9439126, member: 18"] Stop pushing a baseless conspiracy theory, and examine your own motives for doing so, frankly. Stewart has never shown a script, not even in her own book. In her own book, she presents a very short script treatment, that is completely bizarre, and bears no resemblance to Terminator, and very little resemblance to The Matrix. Scripts that get stolen are generally pretty obvious, rather than just using a bunch of ideas which were already around for a long time. Also your claims re: copyright law are just ignorant. This isn't magic. There's no mysterious "legalese" - you clearly have no idea what you're talking about, hence using some empty phrases rather than presenting an actual argument based on the case. And let's be clear - she didn't even turn up at court - that's how strong she thought her case was - she didn't even bother to actually turn up at court. And she wasn't dismissed With Prejudice - she could have gone again, but she didn't. Further, she's publicly lied that A) she won a $2.4 (or 2.5, it changes) billion case, B) That she owns both IPs, legally, and C) that she won in court. Why defend someone who demonstrably lies? It would be one thing if she continually asserted that this stuff was stolen, and had turned up to court, and lost in court, but still asserted this, and had actual evidence, like, y'know, at least an actual script (which she has claimed to have at times, but never shown), Then maybe we could say "Hmmmm maybe" about it. But that's not the case. She's just a serial liar, as shown by her lying. You're saying she lost in court and thus the courts are unfair. She's just lying that she won in court lol! Re: Jordan Benel, he accepted he wasn't ripped off, and hasn't continued to assert that he was, so it's bizarre like you're acting otherwise. He went to court, and reached a settlement that he wouldn't sue anymore, but also the companies involved wouldn't try and get any costs from him.
