[OOC Sarcasm]---------------Though he would NEVER admit it, the dwarven druid I'm playing right now is in love with the party's female (PC) half-elven monk. His home was destroyed around him while he was a child (which led to the unusual circumstances that led him to be a druid), his parents were killed while he watched, and his sister was kidnapped (which led to his becoming an adventurer). He has the feeling that anyone he loves or gets close to will be killed. So despite his (obvious) affection for her, he would never admit it for fear of some sort of karmic reprisal.It's a lot of fun to RP this gruff, unfriendly, likes-nature-more-than-people dwarf such that he's always going far, far out of his way to make the monk's life easier and to protect her from harm.Of course, I think it makes the other player a bit uncomfortable -- he's also male -- so I try not to make it too overt.----------------The funniest part is that the only player in our gaming group I've NEVER had a "relationship" with is whatever character my girlfriend is playing.
