Message: <blockquote data-quote="Richards" data-source="post: 3102016" data-attributes="member: 508">Well, I don't know about always - Jon Pertwee did an awful lot of his own fighting, what with the Venusian Akaido and all.I liked both episodes, but the thing that really bugged me was the whole "pilot fish" deal in "The Christmas Invasion."  The aliens found out about Earth from the British probe, right?  How were they able to send Father Christmas (Santa Claus) doubles with musical instrument weapons that quick?  Doubles able to actually play appropriate Christmas carols on the instruments so that nobody was suspicious until they made their move against Rose and Mickey, mind you.  It think it was a rather poorly-used concept (although I liked the general idea of "pilot fish" - the whole thing kind of reminded me a bit of the heralds of Galactus).So has the new Torchwood show started up there in the UK yet?  I understand this season of Doctor Who is filled with references to Torchwood in just about every other episode in the first half of the season.Johnathan</blockquote>
