Another option - though certainly more work - would be to set up a virtual machine and simply create a linked folder. VMWare has some awesome free stuff and I know it works on Mac ... er, not that I use one. I don't. Anyhoo, it's an option but I'd consider it a last resort one. Just a lot of work compared to how you're trying to do this. Still, it's a pretty awesome setup once you've got it down.
