D&D General Does anyone recall coming across any magic weapons that return when thrown...other than Dwarven Thrower, Hammer of Thunderbolts or magic boomerangs?

yes, in 3.5 Ed some magic weapons had got returning weapon. My house rule is telekinesis could be replaced with "mage hand" for light throwing weapons like daggers or surikens.

Dancing weapons kinda sorta fit that bill. You could also just toss the returning property onto any thrown weapon. Daggers, axes, etc. Pretty sure 3e did that by just making a returning property that could be applied to hurled weapons.

Javelin of Lightning is also a returning weapon. The artificer has an infusion that can make any thrown weapon returning.
Just this week, I gave one of the PCs in my group a custom longsword that the group had been questing for ingredients to. They captured a small piece of the essence of the Western Wind, which gave the weapon the Thrown property and would return after the attack was made (the player got to choose which weapon it was, and they chose longsword - I actually thought they would choose a warhammer, but hey, that's how it goes :) ).

This reminds me of Stormbringer, Elric's sword, which always found a way to return to his side, even across great distances. There's also the bonded weapon property of Pact of Blade Warlock, which is likely based on this. Not thrown per se, but another mechanic for returning.

Not exactly an answer to the question but an Eldritch Knight in 2014 and 2024 5e can have their Bonded weapon teleport to their hand as a bonus action.
