Does blindsight negate flanking ?

Some forms of blindsight (air vibration and scant/hearing combination for example) allows a creature (at least I think it should) to "see" in all direction simultaneous. The Beholder can´t be flanked, because he can also see in all directions (all-around-vision) so does blindsight also make the creature unflankable ?

No. All creatures actually see in all directions, but only creatures with 'all-round-vision' are aware of all directions simultaniously.

But aren´t creatures with blindsight also aware of all surroundings ? They can feel what is behind them even if it is invisible. And with blindsight they can discern different limbs of the same creature, if not they would still loose their dex when the enemy is invisible. So they can feel when and where the enemy swings at them.

No. In this respect Blindsight functions like an Uncanny Dodge ability equivalent of that of a 2nd level Barbarian, not a 5th level one.

Jeez, I really do check these boards too often. I could have sworn that there was a long, drawn-out debate about this just a few weeks ago. Then again, I suppose you could say that about most threads. :p

Really ?
Haven´t seen it (mostly because this wasn´t important a few weeks ago) I will search it. it. A link could save a lot of wasted time. ;)
