Other D&D Variant Domain play, what, if anything, do you use?

Which section/rules/articles are you referring to on the Vaults of Pandius site? Not sure what to look for, the place is a treasure trove of info.

Mechanically, no. BUT the authors needlessly redefined almost every bit of standard RPG terminology within its pages, making reading it a real chore. It took me literal years to finally get through all of it. It was a true endurance test. I knew that it would be worth it, though (it won an Origins Award, after all). The terminology, the large page count, and my own ADHD all worked against me, however.

Wow! Haven’t heard anyone talk about Aria in a long time!

The game was indeed complex and definitely a child of the time, but there were some absolutely great ideas within!

Just for transparency, I worked with Last Unicorn Games back then and contributed to the game (mostly graphics assistance, logo designs etc., but also some writing and design)

I actually still have my preproduction copies of the books with the Origins Nominee stickers on the covers
