Domain spell and metamagic.

Can I improve a domain spell with metamagic feat? Ocupping a higher domain slot?

Yep. I know this was confirmed for 3.0, but I do not think I have seen it confirmed for 3.5, so take my yes with a grain of salt.

This is one way to get multiple uses out of a particularly useful domain spell. 3.0 Time domain wizards tended to prepare haste at 3rd, extended haste at 4th, double extended haste at 5th, etc ...

Sure, I mean while it occupied a separate slot, it's still a spell you must prepare. Therefore using a metamagic feat on it is doable.

What jgsugden and Nightfall said. You can also prepare a domain spell in a higher level domain slot if you wish to, without metamagic feats.
