Dominion Rules returns!

It looks like the big edition change had spurred the re-release of some early open gaming systems, among them Dominion Rules, the once heavily praised free fantasy system designed as an alternative to AD&D 2e. I thought it was neat to see an old favorite bounce back, so here's a link for you: LINK :)

I haven't played it since 1999 or so, though I recall it being a decent substitute for AD&D. And, of course, it was cool because it was one of the first RPGs to make large portions of content open and re-useable.

Thanks for the heads-up! I'll see how it reads, maybe how it plays. Must admit, I never even heard of it before now. As it won't be a while until I get to peruse the document, is there anything about it you feel inclined to mention or describe?

Honestly? I just read about the re-release at RPGNet earlier today ;) That said, I played the 2nd Edition and can say that the 3rd Edition looks very cleaned up by comparison (2nd came spread across a bundle of different PDFs). A brief read earlier this evening seems to indicate that, as a system, it's still very traditional (which, for me, is good).
