But since no other sentient constructs and undead are vulnerable to mind-affecting abilities, I don't see why a sentient golem would be.As for people willingly taking flesh golem bodies, sure it could happen.-If you were capable of finding a wizard strong enough and willing enough to make you such a body (Awaken construct is a 9th level spell with a 5,000 xp cost, in addition to the normal cost of making a golem)-If you were willing to take the risk that the wizard won't just decide to keep control of you instead of awakening you.-If you don't mind the fact that your body is made from the corpses of 5 other people.-If others don't mind the fact that your body is made from the corpses of 5 other people (I can't see clerics or paladins being to impressed with this)-If you don't mind permanently giving up almost all feelings and emotions-If you were capable of finding a way to make a body of stitched together corpses actually look beautiful-If you don't mind the scorn of other people for being different (if they don't accept orcs or goblins they aren't likely to accept a flesh golem)All in all being a flesh golem has just as many, if not more, difficulties as being an undead has. You get a lot of power, but you pay the price for it.</blockquote>
