If you haven't checked it out and you want to supplement your 5e, 4e, 3e, 13th age games check out Pathfinder's Ultimate Campaign. It's basically a rulebook with stuff to do during downtime, sandbox RPGs, running a town/nation, mass combat, legacy weapons, playing as children, and a LOT more. Even if you don't like pathfinder, this book actually doesn't have very much to do with the system itself. I highly highly recommend it, and we know 5e is coming out and that DMG is going to have a lot of this stuff, but in the mean time I urge you guys to check it out if you want to start some of this stuff now.
