It's got some potential for offensive and defensive use, but it's one of those spells that can end up tripping up the party as well as the baddies if you're not careful with its use. I've never liked Sleep for some reason, possibly because it's one that everyone takes . . . a good spell, I just happen to have a bias against it. I took Mage Armor for defense (much longer duration and a straight up +4 AC), Shield would give me two defensive spells and nothing for offense. I like the idea of combining touch spells with unarmed attacks for this guy, and have distance offense covered with the Heavenly Fire and the Crossbow.Would I be stepping on Edmond's toes if I stuck with the touch spells? Or is it just a duplication thing for you?</blockquote>
