I enjoyed it- and I'm definitely looking forward to the next episode. Torchwood finally shows up, though, after all the blatant plugs throughout the season, I don't think it quite lived up to the hype. I'm guessing that the Daleks that showed up from the voidship were likely refugees from the Time Wars- the voidship would certainly explain how they managed to survive it, although I'm not quite clear on what their relationship is to the Daleks in the season finale of last season. Didn't look like there were very many of them at the end, although the trailer for next episode seemed to have more. Speaking of numbers- with millions of Cybermen, how did Mickey and crew ever get the upper hand on them in the parallel Earth? I liked the Cybermen much more this time around- they seemed more menacing and competent than they did in the previous Cybermen arc. Still kind of wished that the original alien Cybermen were the ones they brought back, but this is a good substitute. Can't wait to see the results of their clash with the Daleks. They seem to have upgraded themselves as well- now they have wrist blasters and not just the shocking grasp ability. So psychic paper works on electronic locks? Interesting. Good to see Mickey again, and it looks like we get alternate Pete Tyler next episode as well. Enjoyed the Doctor's showdown with Yvonne over the ghost shift. I somehow don't think Rose will actually die- or at least, won't remain dead by the end of next episode. Seems a little heavy handed for them to start out that way and stick with it. What are some other ways a person can die? Maybe the Doctor abandons her and breaks her heart? That would be a figurative way of "dying." Anyway, just one more week, and we'll see how it all goes. Hope Captain Jack shows up, although on his website it says that he won't (hope that's just a red herring). Wonder when/if they'll finally start doing more than 13 eps a season?
