(DRAGON) 3.5 DM screen = very nice

Very nice indeed. My only complaint is that the post office bent mine into some form of origami animal, but I like what's left of it so much I think I will be buying the magazine at the store to get another!

It's fantastic but...

Maybe I'm missing it but there doesn't seem to be an XP/CR chart. It's my biggest problem with 3rd edition D&D.

If you're going to use a retarded xp system, make sure that the tools to reference it are easy to find and don't require a lot of book flipping.

I really like the screen. I think I lucked out as just the corner got bent a bit. As it is now, it stands up just fine. Sweet.

The sad part is that I'm putting together panels for my own custom screen so I can reference stuff for my homebrew a bit easier. I may actually break down and buy the masterscreen for $25 from Citizen Games (well, I wouldn't buy from their site, I'd probably just get it from the ENworld store). I just don't have the time to build an interchangable pocket 4 piece screen. Or maybe I do.... ;)

Um, I digress.....

My FLGS actually had 4 of them for sale. They are nice. 4 panel and solid.

Peace and smiles :)

Nice. They looked really sturdy on the site. That's a big draw....

I picked one up. (I'm weak). They are very solid, and very customizable. Finally a GM screen that has the information I actually need, rather that they think I might need.

Hmm, I don't agree that the XP system is retarded (of course the success or failure of the entire system comes down to accurate CRs and ELs), but I do agree that it would have been a welcome addition to the screen. In 3.0 I had 2 sets of page numbers memorized - the XP system and the pages where the magical bonus stacking rules were located.
