Dragon #302: Questions, Need help

First Post
I missed this issue and can't find it in the back issues section of my FLGS (lots of copies of the Gnomes issue, though, LOL). Anyway, I'm wondering if the issue is worth buying. I'm running a conjuration specialist wizard and heard there was an article on new summoning magic in this issue.

Can someone please summarize the contents of the issue as well as give me details on the summoning magic article(s)?

I'm debating whether or not to order a copy from Paizo, but seeing as most issues of Dragon only have 1-2 useful articles at most for my needs, I want to be sure before I spend the money. Paizo's website does a bad job of explaining content of back issues (no cover scans or content breakdowns). Please help! Thanks.

Sure thing:

The summoning article offers variant rules that allow the summoning of any creature appropriate to the level of the summon spell used, including options for expanding the summon lists or removing them entirely, as well as guidelines for the use of these rules. It's a pretty cool article overall, and looks to be both portable and easy to adapt.

Other magic-related articles include an excellent collection of new cantrips, infernal magic, side effects for potions, new constructs and armor for spellcasters. #302 is one of my favorite recent issues, and I think it's well worth picking up (even if all you use is the summoning article).
