Dangit. Gloaming dancer makes my submissions look a bit unlikely; a class acts assassin one, and one with a dance theme.

But, hell, it's got some good stuff still, so I'm happy enough


First thought on the wilden one: Reaching for the canopy<unusual reach.
But the action point power seems slightly better, so it's probably okay.

Now to read them properly.

Too tired to comment in length, but the Gloaming Dancers are extra shadowy (albeit there's still no new build), and the epic feat seems to lack a duration. And the wilden gets a paragon climb speed feat and suddenly became a top candidate for melee crit fishers with the Treeborns level 16 path feature. Also the PP's powers refer to the characters highest ability score, new design principle?

Posting links to the PDFs is a big no-no.

Why? You have to log in anyway to see the content, whether you link to the web page with the link or the pdf itself.

It would be a problem if WotC had set up their paywall like amateurs that you can download the file for free with a deep link, but they're not that incompetent (enter snarky comment here).

And I still think "Winning Races: Wilden" is an oxymoron.

Ok, so it would be "Races Eaten by the Dragon: Gnome" and "Races not Tasty enough to Warrant the Effort: Wilden".

Still I don't see Wilden winning anything except a spiky hair contest. They even lose "most ridiculous playable race" to the Bullywug.

It's just that previous instances of posts linking to the PDFs were frowned upon by the mods.

They're also posted exactly like the OP on WoTC's on boards, so I'm not sure if they (Wizards) has a major issue with it.

Re wilden: wow. Awesome. The paragon path is Aareason to play a Wilden Avenger. (or just "to play a wilden -- but the F16 screams out for an Avenger or ranger.) And the powers are great too.

The paragon feats are strong, but the heroic feats are probably not worthwhile IMO.
