Something I've noticed by having written up three of these now: there apparently were no standard formats for titles in the TOC. Some were all initial caps, some were not. Some had subtitles, some did not. "Sorceror" was misspelled.

Frank Mentzer and Gary Gygax had the same writing style, including reference to the reader as "Gentle Reader". Interesting.

This was a great issue - one of my early favourites.

The Giants in the Earth article by Moore was brilliant. It even contained the immortal line - "using Conan on a low level party is like using an atom bomb to kill flies."

Ahh, the nostalgia.
