So, the GenCon madness has died down.. who all is going to be going to Dragon*Con? I'm going to be hanging out at the Brobdingnagian Bards booth again this year. Should be fun.

If nothing else, swing by the booth and listen to the new CD, with such favorites as the Jedi Drinking Tune. Great for those Stormtroopers that are going to be marching about.

I met you last year at the Bards booth, and I'll be there again this year. They're the only musical show I make sure to fit in my schedule.

DragonCon has a pretty huge lineup of celebrities attending this year, as well. Jewel Staite (Kaylee from Firefly) and Billy West (Fry and other voices from Futurama) are two that I'm very interested in seeing.

i miss D*Con every year.

i have a timeshare on Sanibel Island starting the Friday before Labor Day weekend.

this year i'm going down to see how much of my timeshare is left.

90% damage they told me.

have fun while in Hotlanta.

the custome ball is a must see... or so i'm told.

We'll be there. This is my wife's second year to go and she can hardly wait. last year she didn't know what to expect, but this year she has is looking forward to a lot of it. I am looking forward to hearing Warren Ellis, other than that its mostly about the shopping. I will probablly try to play in at least one game while I am there too.

It starts on Sunday (the most popular, due to the costume critiques), but you can cycle back to the first day.

Short version: costumes great, gaming stupendously bad, facilities not-so-great, comics shopping excellent.
