Dragon Demonomicon and Fiendish Codex.

Anyone have a list of the issues that Demon Lords were in Dragon? Were all these in the FC as well? Were there any other things in those sections on demons like info on the planes of the Abyss etc?

Thanks.

The Demonicon has so far only covered demons who were in FC1, IIRC, but each goes into far more detail on the demons and their planes. The articles often have Thrall PrCs, new monsters, etc. There's surprisingly little overlap.

When WotC finally greenlights more Paizo hardcovers some day, the Demonicon collection will be complimentary to FC1.

i've done this before, but OTOH...

pazuzu 329, fraz-urb'luu 333, zuggtmoy 337, baphomet 341, kostchtchie 345, and upcoming dagon 349.

all of these have been featured in FC1, but much of the information does not overlap from one source or the other, so it's good to have both.

Incidentally, it should be noted that James Jacobs made the general recommendation (IIRC) that the FC1 versions of these nasties should be considered excellent choices for combats taking place on the Prime Material Plane. However, demon lords should be much more powerful on their native realms, and hence the Dragon articles serve an excellent purpose for this. Basically, the idea here is that both can be useful if you frame them in that context. I intend to do that myself, as Zuggtmoy as depicted in Dragon would absolutely CREAM the group I will be running through TOEE (if they ever reach her... muahahahaha!). At least they have a prayer of being able to flee if they are fighting the FC1 version, especially with the artifacts they are likely to have in hand.

Iggwilv's history is summarized in an article about the Demonomicon itself that appears in Dragon #336.

Oh so there is no stat writeup? I thought about buying the FC since I love demon stuff but I prefer the setups from the Demonomicon articles from what I've seen.

FC1 expands on stuff in the Demonomicon article and vice-versa. you can have one without the other, but IMHO they complement each other nicely. :)
