I didn't, for MY alternate Dragon Disciple class. I'll try and put it down below, but I'm fairly certain teh formatting on teh Level Advancement table will get mucked up ... note, it's based on a modified Half-Dragon template, whose breath weapon and damage resistances are scalar to character level (IOW a Fighter-5 Half Dragon will have a better breath weapon, and better resistance, than a Fighter-2 Half Dragon). Anyway, here'sthe class: Dragon Disciple II ... This prestige class was among the least attractive to it's target character types, and was also based on the prior, IMO insufficiently level-scalar Half-Dragon template. It has undergone numerous private revisions, searching for the most balanced way to allow Sorcerors and Bards to pick up the Half-Dragon template, yet not cripple their spellcasting capabilities ... while remaining reasonably balanced. As a result, the -current- incarnation is a five-level short-track prestige class; little actual spellcasting is gained, but the Half-Dragon racial template is gained much more swiftly ... leaving advancement room and time for adding to the prior class. Net loss for using the Prestige Class to gain the template is 3 levels of spellcastign ability; note the entry requirements are a bit tougher/stricter to compensate for the overall improvement in the class. Note also that Wizards are now equally qualified; the ability to cast arcane spells "without preparation" has been replaced with possession of the new feat "Draconic Bloodline" ... Requirements Race: Any nondragon (cannot already be a full or half dragon) Knowledge (Arcana): 8 ranks Knowlewdge (Dragon Lore): 4 ranks Feats: Draconic Bloodline Languages: Draconic Spells: Ability to cast arcane spells, except as provided by racial abilities. Special: The player chooses a dragon type when taking the first level of this prestige class, subject to the DM's approval. Class Skills The dragon disciple II's class skills (and the key ability for each skills) are Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Diplomacy (Cha), Escape Artist (Dex), Gather Information (Cha), Knowledge (Int), Listen (Wis), Profession (Wis), Scry (Int, exclusive skill), Search (Int), Speak Language (Int), Spellcraft (Int), and Spot (Wis). Skill points at each level are 2 + Int Modifier.
LEVEL BASE -Saving Throws- Special . ATTACK Fort Ref Will 1 +1 +2 +0 +2 Half Natural AC bonus; half Resistance; Impunity to Half-Dragon Template ECL 2 +2 +3 +1 +3 STR +2, CHA +4 +1 Spellcaster Level 3 +3 +3 +2 +3 CON +2, Breath Weapon at 1/2 Character Level 4 +4 +4 +2 +4 STR +2, full Natural AC and Resistance +1 Spellcaster Level 5 +5 +5 +3 +5 Full Template, including attribute modifiers not yet applied
I can post the modified Template itself later, if folks are interested. [edit]noticed too late that the Table was showing in black-on-dun text, ick ... it's fixed now. I hope. :D [/edit]
