Dragon "escaping" with the Dungeon?

Just a thought (not that I'm suggesting any one do the following) but other than personal morals, what will stop the "content" of the new Dragon and Dungeon from getting out to people for free?

Considering the availability of _print_ books online, it's far too easy to copy and paste the articles from the web site into a word document. Not everyone is of lawful alignment.

With the print magazines, you'd have to photocopy, or scan, each page if you wanted to share with others. Will there be some mechanism that will disable the ability to copy and paste (or even take a screen shot?)

In theory, couldn't a gaming group pool their money for one D&DI account and then pass the content around amongst them?

Again, I'm not saying anyone should do this, just wondering if WotC has considered this.

My guess is that when the mags become paid subscriptions, the articles will be PDFs with protection that prevents someone from copying and pasting. They have done that with cetain IP documents here at work (which is a PITA when I want to use that content in another work document). There are ways around it, but it takes a few steps and some time - at least as much as scanning and posting a printed page.

Of course, if they do that, then they have taken away a lot of utility for those gamers (like me) who use electronic books almost exclusively at the game table. If I can't copy and paste a creature's stats into my adventure document, then that makes the ebook or ezine of little practical use to me. Using this method would certainly be something that would turn me off to subscribing to Dragon and Dungeon.
