Its horrendous. Easily the worst official 4E product I own and I think I have at least 80% of all the official releases.

I was hoping for maybe the Bane article and the Thunder Serpent Primordial monster and instead it appears I had shelled out for a bunch of articles that WotC already have as freeview on their website, most of which I had already read and in some cases (Yeenoghu) printed out!

Wish I had read some reviews on this before purchase. GAH! Won't happen again.

I suggest googling some reviews of this turkey.

If I were WotC, in future I think I would operate under the following criteria (if you are putting out any more Annuals):

1. Divide the Annual into 3 annuals and have them called:

Dragon Magazine Annual: Players Options
Dragon Magazine Annual: DM's Options
Dragon Magazine Annual: Monsters

2. Don't use any material thats already free on the website.

It's the only 4e book so far that I won't ever bother with. I have a DDI subscription, have saved all the Dragon issues I own, and don't want to spend $30 for a hardback that gives me no additional utility.
