It's a great product.
I paid $70 for mine, back in the day. I regularly encourge people to buy it.
Would I pay $180? Ah, no. That crosses some indeterminate line of what I would and would not buy in a gaming product (call it "The Ptolus Threshold" if you will). But it's really great. You can go back and convert all the old modules to 3.5 if you're ever stumped for an adventure. The articles on DMing and PCing are every bit as valid today as they were then. And the Wormy cartoons are worth $15 by themselves.
But you know what's really cool? The really old ones when the hobby was just getting started. I am somewhat comforted to know that 30 years from now, just like 30 years ago, we'll still be arguing about Lord of the Rings movies.
