My to the Two the Cents: What I really Like, currently: Campaign components is a biggie. I love getting new options. Really, really do. Supplemental optional rules articles like house rules, levelling weapons, druidcraft...heck even the ecology articles and new monster/spell articles are good, if kept in check. Campaign setting material isn't bad, either. While I have no great desire to use the Shannara material, for example, as I don't care for Shannara: I still stole the material for use. Anything that gives me ideas, I like. What I really don't Like, currently: Silicon Sorcery. Stop it. Stop it now. Really, I mean it. It's a waste of page count, IMHO. For the games I do play, the feature seems off-base: for the games I don't, it just seems silly. I'd rather see an actual honest-to-goodness review of the game (or a round-up article of fantasy-related games) rather than this stuff. Ugh. The Forgotten Realms articles are probably popular, but not with me. Not sure why...they're attractive enough. Maybe I just think it belongs in Dragon, or something. Generally, I ignore the fiction, with the GRRM novella being the exception rather than the rule. It's not that it's bad, and much of it is not, but I have precious little fiction reading time as it is. What I'd like to see more of: More fun articles like the movies and music articles. I disagreed a great deal with them, but they were fun reads, regardless. More campaign components! They're useful and fun. Historical articles (like famous figures in history, ancient cities and historical references with gaming links) are all very welcome. More stuff like Monte's articles on running your game, or how to handle specific situations...anything that improves me as a gamemaster or my skills is good.
