Oh, such a rain of hype is as unto a shower of gold in the dark night. It is always GOOD to see that people are using the technique of CAPITALISING random WORDS in SENTENCES. I HEARTILY approve of this MEME, SCHTICK, METHOD, TACTIC or STRATEGEM. I'll have fun any which way I please. And sometimes, I have no problems playing monsters dumb, because this also means the players don't feel pressured to optimise their tactics. A tactically optimised game often feels more like a session of Rogue Spear than anything resembling fantasy. Did I say anything else? Tch. And the dragon didn't save? You're slipping. Again, I see the RANDOM CAPITALISATION method in use. However, for BEST effects, you really should also use -- lots of EM DASHES -- to simulate talking in DISCONNECTED WORD BUBBLES -- as was done --- in the GOLDEN AGE of COMICS. And not only that -- EXCLAMATION MARKS!!! You must have lots -- and lots -- of EXCLAMATION MARKS!!!! To truly capture that CLASSIC -- DECLAMATORY STYLE!!!!! A dragon fight is tough. So what? It should be no tougher or easier than any other fight of (roughly) the same CR. If you fight a CR 10 dragon, it should be no more or less memorable than any other CR 10 fight, eg against a demon, or a band of NPC villains, or whatever. D&D provides a whole spectrum of fantastic adversaries, and dragons are only one of these. It must be terrible not to remember any other encounter you had. ... Oh, you DO remember the other encounters you had? My bad. In which case, who gives two hoots about your dragons? Unfortunately, you forgot to use the RANDOM CAPS in your signoff, so I completely MISSED it. What a TERRIBLE omission. Hong "CHANNELING Robert McELWAINE" Ooi
