Dragon-themed dice ?

Ok this will be downright weird, but -

I dug out old Council of Wyrms stuff and I am about to GM a campaign with dragons as player characters. Yes, I know it's silly, but my players asked me for something "different" and we came up with idea of Dragon Game.

Now, we have it all, complete with suitably dragonic DM screen and dragon minis of all sizes and colors but we do lack one thing. Dice !

A friend of mine showed me some quite awesome dice with dragon theme few years back, these would fit perfectly into our game but for the love of Tiamat I can't find these dice anywhere on the 'net. Any help appreciated, i'm growing slightly mad from not being able to recall where I've seen those.

Plus, I think dragonlance came out with dice once for a set where the high number was replaced with a dragon.

If you really want some dragon dice and have deep pockets, you can google just about any dice company and they will make whatever types of dice you want.

Advancing Hordes sells d6's with dragons in place of 1's, and MacGregor Historical Games sells d6's that look like a dragon compressed into a cube (ouch!). I haven't seen any dragon-themed dice that aren't d6's, unfortunately.

The dice from MacGregor Games do actually roll true, contrary to their odd appearance. I spent a day chi-square testing them for Charles (the owner). The dice are great, especially if you get the green ones, they have a wonderful appearance to them. I can highly recommend them.

I think that is better than anything we gave you so far. Notice they do have a custom die deal too, like most dice companies. They say it is not that pricey, but I bet it is. Thanks for the link. I looked into custom dice once before and you had to order something like 100 sets or they wouldn't do it, this one seems to be on a lower scale for custom dice. They have your dragon dice, but for fun, I'll post back when they mail be prices.

I've been eying them for some time on Paizo's site for the same reasons as your own.

I just can't justify that price for a set of dice.

I got a set of those dragon dice when they came out; A bone colored set with the brown etched numbers. Very nice set. The other players in my group look at them funny and say they're hard to read, but I've never had trouble with them myself. Accept no substitutes for dragon PCs!

This is exactly what I was looking for, thanks for the pic I'll grab one set for green, red, and blue dragon players - just no silver dice for my game's only do-gooder *sniff*
