Vargr (norse for wolf), Aslan (Turk for Lion), Bwaps (literally 1.5m sentient newts)... Oh, and uplifted dolphins, orcas, chimps, bears and orangutans also appear later on.Space Opera (the FGU RPG, rather than the genre) also has canine races, felinoids, ursinoids, Avians, Warm Blooded Saurians...Star Trek RPGs usually have felinoids and avians, especially now that Paramount considers ST:TAS canon...  We get the Caitians and Kzinti for felinoids, we see avians in TAS and in LD. And the Tellarites are originally "pig-men"... they've been retconned by Ent, DIS, LD, and P.Japanese fantasy often includes animals in human guise, who, the more stressed, the more like their animal form they appear...</blockquote>
