He's been pretty arrogant and high-handed to the PCs as well, but not overtly hostile, and less so when he discovered the need for an alliance.2.) As mentioned previously, it will probably take the form of a lust for power (he'd been an Ensi before his people died, basically a prince and high priest) and an intolerance of those who don't share his beliefs. Blame it on the vampirism if you like--but my overall goal is for "let Edgewalker kill all the hobgoblins for us" not to be a good strategy in the long-term.
