The original Praemal campaign, that paved the way for Ptolus, for instance, has an invisible moon of magic. I'd much rather play of Praemal/Ptolus from what I've seen than Krynn.Leaving aside the enormous schizophrenic changes to the setting over the years -- "Like an element of the setting? WELL, OUT IT GOES, SO NOW YOU'LL LOVE THE SETTING!" -- it just feels too restrictive unless you want to do what amounts to Dragonlance fanfic, IMO. I can tell my own stories in Greyhawk, Praemal, Freeport, the Iron Kingdoms, Eberron or even Faerun. I can play variations on a theme in Krynn. No thanks.</blockquote>
