[QUOTE="teitan, post: 1593924, member: 3457"] Age of Mortals, artwork and editorial issues aside is a solid piece of flavour text that otherwise proves to be inessential to the Dragonlance campaign and more of a nice add on. There are a few instances of repeated text, not word for word, but same thing, different wording but it is not so much as to be annoying, just noticeable and that is about it as far as that goes. It adds to the poor Geography section of the DLCS quite nicely with additional maps (very nice) and some expanded descriptions of a few regions. The Prestige Classes are nice as well and the stupid rule that WoHS need to specialize is also lifted. There are some nice NPC stat blocks but they do not have a consistent organization to them, sometimes something like alignment will be in one place and then the next stat block in another. ALignments for Dalamar and Palin are missing altogether. SOme stat blocks I think are unnecessary, the character in question might be dead. I personally find the Mariner unnecessary myself, preferring to use a rogue or fighter to represent naval based characters but the class is nice. The artwork though... I have issues with it. Some of it is grainy and some of it just sux. The ELmore pieces are great and elevate the poor artwork a bit, except for the piece of Dalamar and Palin, which has an obvious scan like quality and the colouring is horrid with bright reds in the flesh tones and it looks really washed out. No piece in the book is as bad as the Skullcap piece or the copper and silver dragon pieces in the DLCS. None are as good as the picture of Verminaard or the Aesthetics and there are no Warhammerdragonlance of the Knight pictures in the DLCS but I would also say that the DLCS artwork is overall a superior product in spite o a handful of really nasty pieces in the DLCS.
