I'd love to get in on this, too, and I'm psyched (but also somewhat heartbroken) to see that Caramon, that lovable oaf, has been left untouched this whole time. The PHB says on page 17 that you should spend 22 points on increasing your ability scores. With 22 points, here's how I see Caramon: Str 16 Con 14 Dex 13 Int 8 Wis 10 Cha 14 Caramon is a giant of a man, and is, physically, a powerful juggernaut. Mentally, he's almost helpless, of course. His unexpected ace in the hole is his nurturing instinct, good looks, and friendly attitude, which make him the perfect foil for Raistlin, who needs, exploits, and envies him. Actually, I'd say I think the stat build for Raistlin before could reflect a higher Wisdom and lower Charisma. Raistlin is pretty put together, and if he makes poor choices it's only because we don't have the same priorities as the mage. His low Charisma comes from his acrid personality, disdain for everyone around him, and complete disinterest in makign friends. In fact, outside of Caramon and Bupu, has Raistlin had a single friend in his whole life? Maybe his Charisma drops after the Test of High Sorcery, but I don't think 4e makes it easy to cut down your PC's ability scores so this might be hard later.
