He also met Tasslehoff Burrfoot in Solace, and although he constantly makes a show of how much he     s the kender, Flint is actually quite fond of the little guy, and values his companionship greatly. He is actually an old softie at heart, although he actes gruff at times, so as not to show how much he loves his friends.</blockquote>
