Dragon's Alchemy & Spell uses

I need a list that tells what Dragon parts are good for either spells, items, or other alchemy uses. I need the list with prices and a breakdown by dragon color if color maters.

I've never seen or heard of an "official" list like that. Feel free to make one up if you like. :)

In classic fantasy there's virtually no end to what dragon bits an' pieces are good for. Their hearts are often prized for bestowing strength and vigor upon the eater. Their eyes could be components of things that bestow True Sight, taking advantage of their formidably advanced senses. Dragon blood, while often considered corrosive and/or toxic, is generally agreed on to be powerfully magical and can add potency to just about any brew or item. In particular, a flaming blade might need to be quenched during its forging in dragon's blood.

And of course, dragonscale armor is quite nice, and is in fact detailed under existing rules as far as how to make it and so on.

A thought occured: You could rule it that certain components of a dragon - if rightly preserved - will enhance your casting: Its hide makes endure elements and the like better, an eyeball (or portion thereof) enhances true sight, the claws are good for magic weapon and greater magic weapon (meybe they enhance the spell so it bestows a energy effect on the blade, like +3 flaming when used with red dragon claws) and so on.

Personally, I would use them as Power components in magical item creation. Using the correct component would provide the XP that the item normally requires.

One additional change that I would make. Eatting the heart of a dragon allows you to unlock your sorcerous powers. Anyone wanting to multiclass into Sorcerer better have a strong stomach.

In any case, none of these components should have a 'standard' price because they just aren't available often enough.

What about that Fighter 1? Will the dragon show pity in his plight of not being able to multiclass, and tear his own heart out for him to eat? :D

AEG's "Dragons" has all you need, plus a bunch more ;).

Our party managed to buy a ship with the proceeds of selling the corpse of a juvenile green dragon we killed (plus a fraction of the hoard).

My alchemist is still walking around with two bags full of preserved dragon blood however. Anyone have any suggestions for that? Preferably alchemical, non-magical...
