Message: <blockquote data-quote="Xorn" data-source="post: 4266191" data-attributes="member: 61231">My players fought a young white dragon Sunday.  To quote the fighter during our wrap-up, "Everything the whole adventure felt... heroic."The dragon fight was pretty spectacular--the dwarf tried to leap across a frozen pool, didn't jump far enough, and almost fell as he slid to solid ground.  Miraculously he managed to keep his footing, ran around a natural stone pillar and blew his action point to hit the dragon with a hobbling encounter power.  The rogue took up a position using a corner for cover and used his hand crossbow, while the range got out to extreme range behind a corner and started using Twin Strike to devastating effect.  The warlord leapt over the same icy lake at the narrow end and charged the dragon.Immediately, the dragon breathed frost over the dwarf (marked by him, and I really needed to get him off of her), the blew an action point and used Frightful Presence, stunning the dwarf and rogue.  Over the next turn she proceeded to claw the crap out of the warlord (landing two claws, allowing a free bit attack) then lay back into the fighter.  Pretty soon though, she was flanked and marked by the fighter, flanked by the warlord and rogue, and taking damage rapidly--by bloodied she was literally in a frenzy, ignoring everything but the fighter (as her tactics indicated she would fight).  In the end the warlord was out of heals, everyone had blown their action point and dailies, and everyone (except the ranger) was ready to drop if they were hit one more time.  It was brutal.  The rogue finally finished the dragon off with a sneak attack, though the ranger scored a crit on her previous round, almost stealing the glory.I think it would have been hard for this fight to be cooler, honestly.</blockquote>
