Anyone have any ideas on how to create a species of light sensitive predators like the ones in Pitch Black for Dragonstar?

I may be able to help you here <g>.... I have designed an aerial predator with a few variations based off the creautres in Pitch Black, and Spidertrag is producing the art for it for me.... i call the Creature a Ridgean Pheryx (pronounced Ridge-Ee-un Fair-IX), i'll do the monster sheet write up for it once i get the art and post it up on Neo's Brain Clutter over at Jojo's and also at Brutorz Bill's website.
Regarding thier sensitivity to light, it is displayed quite well in the film that like actually harms them a lot, as such i would suggest a CON point of loss per round of exposure until dead. Points are regained 1d6 rounds after the last exposure to ligth and come back at 1 point per round.
