Dragontouched & Auras

The Dragonfire Adept gives you Dragontouched feat as a freebie. Under the Draconic aura feat it states my aura strength goes up according to my character level (so far piece of cake). The problem arises is that I took a 1 level dip into Dragon Shaman for surviving purposes (healing aura). How does the Dragontouched feat affect those? The same? Partial etc?

The "special" entry of the feat says if you are of the dragonblood subtype, the bonus of your draconic aura improves with your class level. Usually, "class level" indicates the level of s certain class/prestige class. But some of the WotC writers use it as "total of all the class levels (excluding racial HDs) or Class Level, too.

As the feat is not related to a certain class, I say "character level" is the reasonable interpretation.

Also, there is a following entry in WotC official FAQ file,

When a dragon shaman (PHB II, 11) gains the ability to project an additional draconic aura from another source (such as the dragon lord prestige class; DM 38), would the new aura use the same bonus as his existing auras? Could he project an aura from each class simultaneously?

The new aura would use whatever bonus is described for it in the text of the source that grants it. In the case of the dragon lord prestige class, it indicates the bonus of the aura. Contrast this with the Draconic Aura feat (DM 16), which indicates that the new aura’s bonus scales with the dragon shaman’s level. Such a character couldn’t project two different draconic auras separately. Each time a character learns a new draconic aura, it’s simply added to the list of options that he has (possibly with a different bonus). A 6th-level dragon shaman/1st-level dragon lord knows six total auras: five from his dragon shaman class levels (each of which grants a bonus of +2) and one from his dragon lord class levels (which grants a bonus of +1).

Assuming you are a Dragonfire Adept 6/Dragon Shaman 1. And gaining 1 Draconic Aura from Draconic Aura feat and 3 from Dragon Shaman class.

1 Aura, which you are gaining from Dragonic Aura feat has +2 bonus (7th-level).

Other 3 Auras, you are gaining from Dragon Shaman class has +1 bonus (as a 1st-level Dragon Shaman).
