Drawings for my novels - request for artists

Hello everyone, I am in the process of the final editing of two fantasy novels. The first book in particular is almost ready to be sent to various agents, but I'd like to have a few black and white drawings to open some of the chapters before I ship it off.

I was wondering if anyone had a bunch of black and white art I might be allowed to use, or if someone would even be willing to make me some nice drawings for the book.

I am looking for simple drawings of maybe places, weapons, people - really all sorts of things could be used to help set the mood for a given chapter - as long as it remains in the realm of "classic fantasy".

As I am unpublished (as of now), there will be no monetary payment for this. In the case the book gets published, and the drawings are included (editor/publisher's call, naturally), you will of course be credited with your name.

If you have art I can use, or are interested in making some, please contact me at: sbkrsc AT gmail DOT com. (insert @ and . please, its just a precaution to avoid spambots). I can then communicate ideas and such from there.

Does no one have some simple drawings I might use? I'm thinking simple stuff, like a flag, a sword, a small bunch of people in a forest clearing (with no facial details etc, just the impression of some people) or similar.

Or perhaps someone willing to make some?

I've done some B/W scetches from time to time and if I get in to the right mood I might draw something for you. What kind of size are you talking about. Full page, Half page, 1/3 page?

I'd say 1/4 - 1/2 page drawings. They can of course be scaled afterwards too, if needed.

Preferably B&W I think, since if this gets anywhere, there is little chance for colour on the pages.
