At first, I thought maybe the mother could send some kind of vision to her daughter, pleading with her to come home. But elves don't dream and can't be subjected to that kind of magic, it would seem. I'm thinking the brother might lie and tell her parents she's been kidnapped by the other PCs, who've brainwashed her into thinking she's one of them.
