THE GLORY OF THE GRIFFON RIDERS...

Atop the peak of Mt. Auroch, the fabled griffon riders make their home in the city of Aerie. Epic in its scope, Aerie has been carved into the very face of the mountain itself. Its people rule over a vast swath of territory, its trade with the dwarves of Westerdeep and the city-states of the east is rich, and its fame has spread far and wide. Indeed, its fortunes have never seemed fairer.

But all is not well in the city of Aerie. Merchant and knight have turned one upon the other, and mercenaries play each off against the other. If the coming crisis cannot be averted, even a city of stone may burn.

Here you will find all the wonders of Aerie, from the cyclopean maze of the Giant's Steps to the glorious sunken mansions of the upper city. Breathe deep the fresh, crisp mountain air and gaze upon the magnificent waterfalls of the eastern wall. Learn what it is to soar through the clouds on the backs of griffons...

Each City Supplement provides a complete fantasy city suitable for use with the D20 System. In addition to a full-page map of the city, each supplement includes a description of the city's full history, an overview of the major organizations, adventure seeds, and a complete gazetteer. City Supplement 2: Aerie features two full-page maps of the city for the DM and player, the masterpieces of Sarafina, and a special bonus map of the mammoth Griffon Cave!

Preview looks good. I like the heraldry, excellent touch. Could you provide a link to your first supplement?

$2.00 for the 18 page PDF is pretty reasonable.

Can you explain how the paperback version is? Meaning could you give me examples of what type of paperback it is? Is it essentially put together like modules are? Differently?

$6.49 for an 18 page "module" ain't bad considering I pay about $10.00 for 24 page modules.

Yeah, I had to admit as well this was a pretty nice looking deal and material as well. I found the link to his first supplement on his website.

The print edition is published POD through Lulu.com. The binding is saddle-stitched. Based on the copy I received from them, the pages are glossy. The cover is a light-weight, glossy cardstock.

Our first release was City Supplement 1: Dweredell. It's a shorter release, and -- honestly -- I don't think the price point is very good for the print edition. Dweredell was designed specifically for the PDF market, and it was only after it had been completely finished and laid-out that we became aware of how easy it would be to work Lulu POD editions into our business plan. In the end, I decided offering a print edition made sense -- if people wanted it, I saw no reason not to have it as an option. (But I also feel the need to apologize for the relatively expensive print edition whenever I mention it. :) )

If you're interested in straight-up adventure modules, too, keep an eye on us. We'll be releasing a 20-page mini-adventure at the same $6.49 (print) and $2.00 (PDF) price points in the near future. (We're just waiting on the cover art.)

Thanks for the interest!
