[DreamReality Press] And our first product will be...

Y.O.Morales

First Post
Encyclopedia of Monsters Vol.1 From aberrations to dragons:

DreamReality Press is pleased to announce its first product, a 96 pages PDF book that will be available online and in CDs, both full-color version and printer-friendly (B&W) version.

Here is what we have to say about it:

Our first product will offer you 40 original monsters including aberrations, beasts, constructs, and dragons (10 creatures per each category). All of these monsters are completely original and well designed, not only in their abilities but also in their physical design. The book details their behavior, society, organization, reproduction, and more, plus it includes adventure ideas and other game material (like new antidotes, chemicals, disease, etc.), all derived from these new monsters. It also includes templates, foldup counters for each creature, and wilderness encounter lists.

Inside this book you will find interesting monsters like the mantipedes, replicators, gravemoles, holy and unholy sentinels, dismantlers, prismatic golems, robonites, and the interplanary and ancestral cosmic dragons; plus many more critters. The book features wonderful artwork by the new fantasy artist Javier Ortiz.

So start learning more about the first Encyclopedia of Monsters by visiting our website (www.dreamrealitypress.com) and downloading its Table of Contents. Or you can be the first to play these monsters, since we are looking for playtesters to test it. More details about playtesting in our website.

Stay tuned for more previews and news regarding this product.

I like that you are having about two pages per creature. I think that that alone sticks out in my mind and really makes me interested in this product.

Are the CRs a wide variety or mostly in one area?

The CRs are widely varied, but they mostly fall bewteen 4 to 12. Note that the 10 dragons cover up almost all CRs.

For now, I cannot provide exact details about the CRs since the product is being tested.

Thank you for your interest.

Hmm...aberrations, beasts, constructs, dragons....what, no animals?

I am, of course, just kidding, and can't wait to get a look at this product, especially after seeing that table of contents! Bring on the cosmic dragons!! (As a fan of the old Spelljammer setting, Ive dearly missed things like Sun and Moon dragons, as well as Radiant and Celestial dragons, its good to see them back in a form).

We wanted to do our own versions of the Sun and Moon dragons, and later we came up with the rest of the cosmic dragons. Like the ones in the MM, they are divided between the good and the bad ones. Good cosmic dragons have names of celestial bodies (moon, star, sun) , while the evil cosmic dragons' names come from destructive phenomena of the cosmos, such as novas, meteors, and blackholes (which was changed to darkmatter; imagine a dragon called 'Blackhole Dragon').

We hope that the RPG community enjoy these dragons the same way we enjoyed creating them.
