Enter a world of psionic power and mental might, where the thoughts of its citizens can become reality. Explore a world devastated millenia ago by a disaster brought about by magic, a magic that no longer exists. Discover a world without gods or clerics, without wizards or mages, a world that embraces the power of psionics and the art of the mind. Enter the Third Dawn Campaign Setting.

With over 140 pages of material, the Third Dawn Campaign Setting contains everything needed to start a new game in an all-psionic, magic-free world. Given a pantheon of godminds, the different cultures, nations, and races that live in the world of Third Dawn, and a variety of character options to fill in the gaps left by the departure of magic, get started today!

Get your hands on a fresh copy right now! And be sure to tell all your friends about it. And be sure to write in the forums to share what you think about it!

The Third Dawn Campaign Setting can be purchased from Dreamscarred Press, RPGNow, DriveThruRPG, Your Games Now, and Paizo!

Seriously? 3.x? Damn. That just went from "must have burnin' hunk of love" to "maybe if there's nothing else 4th-edition-related to purchase first".

I really hope you plan to expand on phrenic shards and other 4th edition material.

As has been pointed out before in this thread, there are no psionic rules available yet. However, if there are none in the PHB2 we do intend to look over the possibility of releasing it as a phrenic world instead. But that would mean providing atleast one phrenic base class which by itself is a huge release.

Right now we are in the process of writing and playtesting the Knightmare class (based on the Morphean) and it is our intention to release 4E variants on the Thoughtsinger, Society Mind, Marksman and Halo Knight too.

Is this a 3.5 or a 4e release?

EDIT: I see it in Andreas' sig. For 3.5e.

3.5/Pathfinder.

Your sig says "Third Dawn", but it links to "Complete Control".

Thankyou and fixed! :D

Other than the complete absence of magic and its replacement with psionics what distinguishes this setting from all the others?

Full integration of psionics is only one part, a post-apocalyptic but advanced world, a fresh look at races and culture, a focus on conspiracies and backstabbing politics and an alien species as a looming threat. To me, these things distinguish Third Dawn from others. Its a little of Dark Sun with a little of Eberron and a big dash of "our own" ideas. :D

*Crossing my fingers for Pathfinder system*

The races are written so as to be compatible with the Pathfinder system and we are still awaiting a response from Paizo regarding licensing and releasing a Pathfinder Psionics book.
